"Bye Dad . . . hold the fort down"
Karen and Kelsey were waiting when we got there.
The girls in front of the Christmas tree at the hotel.
Dinner was at an Italian restaurant with to-die-for food!! And the walk . . . a mere 15 - 20 (mostly down hill) city blocks . . . no exaggeration. But so cool to see all the sights along the way that we would have just flown by in a cab.
Sunrise from our room - over the Embarcadero.
Robes and room service.
Hotel views - Karen's folks were married in this cathedral, which the Fairmont overlooks.
First we went to the Embarcado, which is a gigantic farmers market on the weekend.
Then down to Union Square for shopping and cute street musicians.
Then back up the ASS KICKING hill to the hotel for room service (our rooms look towards Union Square). :)
Then back down the hill for ice cream and more Union Square.
Dancing with the silver man.
Sunday we checked out and went to lunch on like the 6th floor of Neiman Marcas. Such pretty girls.
It was an absolute dream weekend and we had such a great time. It was so nice to have a whole weekend for just the girls. Thank you K & K . . . you're such good friends (sistas!!) . . . and FABULOUS tour guides. :)
