Right now . . .

I saw this on another blog, and I love these!

Right now i am…

Watching:  American Pickers.  I want to win the lottery so I can unhurriedly cruise the midwest looking for antiques and prized junk pieces.  Dragging Karen or Alisa along as Scott has about 3 seconds patience for this type of "shopping".  And I wouldn't want to drag the dogs along.  Scott = dogs.

Eating:  We just taste tested a batch of fudge.  This one is a no bake and I'm thinking will now be the go-to holiday fudge recipe.

Drinking:  Not enough water.  But I've scaled back the coffee during the week to just 2 cups in the morning.  Yay me!  Weekends are another story.

Wearing: Ugly sweats that are cut off below my knee, long sleeve tshirt, ankle socks, glasses on my head.  Today was a perfect get-it-together day of dinking around the house with the beginnings of Christmas decorating.

Avoiding:  That walk around the block I should be taking after the fudge.

Feeling:  Happy and content.  We've been out of town the past few weekends doing fun stuff and it's good to be home for a weekend with nothing much going on.

Missing:  My mommy.  Like always.

Thankful:  For my happy little family.  And for my job with such a great boss who just approved a week off during Ella's Christmas break!

Weather:  Clear and sunny, like 60*.  Hello . . . bring on the Valley winter gloom and doom . . . the rainier, foggier, colder the better!

Needing:  Our general game plan for the holidays (I'm a planner!).  I think I'll sit them down tomorrow morning and think this out.

Thinking: Of all the things I'd like to do before and during the holidays.  Thinking of old and newer traditions that should/will be included.  And making my list!

Loving:  Coffee with Scott on early weekend mornings.  Anticipating a trip to the cabin soon.  Having coffee with Auntie Barbara and Uncle Kenny.  Fires every night now that it's cold.  A hot bath tonight.  Planning the holidays.  The new fudge recipe!  A break from volleyball for about a month before Ella starts practicing/playing club.
