He's a slave driver

We had a busy weekend and got alot done.  I had no idea, but Scott had made an appointment to have the carpets cleaned Friday at 5:00pm (what the hell!!).  I know they needed to be done, but damn!  He told me when I got home about 2:00.  I was not pleased, to say the least.  And he was insisting.  So we hucked and shucked, moved furniture, and had the carpet guy over.  Fun Friday night!  But then we got up Saturday morning, and everything was mostly dry.  We got the furniture put back and I wanted to kill him a little less.

Saturday we lounged to baseball and football games and I continued to paint the bathrooms (which are still not done).

This morning we leisurely had coffee and talked about not doing much on "Scott's day off" (I thought we had already accomplished enough with the carpet cleaning!).  I could have one request . . . which was to start the spooky witch for the front yard.  So we bipped on over to Lowes and bought ply wood.

One thing led to another, and we ended up:

Getting Scott's truck washed
The next thing I know, Scott was on the roof to trim the big tree off the patio (again, what the hell!!)
Trimmed the trees that were on the bedroom side of the house
I overheated and had to dip in the subzero pool
Cleaned the "vallies" on the roof - they say rain is coming!!
Cleaned the gutters
Unclogged the very clogged gutters
Then I drew out the witch on plywood and Scott cut her out - an 8' spooky witch!!

Ella was amazingly absent with all of this going on . . . a regular Houdini when it comes to yard work.

We all ended up falling asleep after pizza while watching the taped Brewers vs. D-Backs.  I woke up and it was mostly dark outside!  Dang - another quick weekend.

 I'm gonna take a bath.  Back to work/school tomorrow.  2 big volleyball games next week - yahoo!!
