The patient is doing great. She wouldn't really nap yesterday (of course, that kid stopped napping at age 2!) and is taking a pill here and there. We lucked out.
But in celebration of the wisdom teeth, I'm taking another day off (I planned on two, and I'm taking two!!). I think I'll paint the bathroom(s). Only one will get done today, but both need to be done. This whole house needs to be done!
BIG problem - I suck at choosing paint colors. I totally nut up with anxiety. Choosing the living room color (5 years ago!!) was excruciating and involved multiple paint samples . . . and I mean multiple - like 20 . . . painted in random chunks on the walls. So you could see how it would look at different times of day (in our tiny little house). I always feel like there's a better color!
It's no secret that I've never been pleased about my bestie moving to Michigan how many years ago? And now I need her here more than ever! This girl is a design queen/goddess/guru. She's like The Devil Wears Prada gal for home interior issues. One glance and SHE could tell me which colors to pick. She has offered to commute to consult, but I can't afford that Cadillac driving, diamond encrusted itch-bay!
Attempting to GET OVER IT (as Wray would say), I marched into Lowes last night at 9:45pm and quickly bought paint for the bathroom. The color's called Roasted Garlic . . . probably not a good omen. We'll see how it goes!
This is what remains from easily the 100 paint chips I started with. My right eye is twitching! :- /
