A Junior in the house

I went in a little early this morning so I could come back for the first day of school.  She wanted me to curl the back of her hair.  I looked forward to a cup of coffee with Scott and taking some pictures.  When I got here, she was all curled up and was pretty much ready to go.  She didn't need her mommy!

Continuously texting her buddies to check what was going on.

First day of school pictures on the same front porch for the past 12 years.

And she's off.

First time driving to school on the first day - although she's been driving since last Jan.
First time going to classes at 2 different schools.
First time off campus at lunch.
First time I didn't cry.

This is going to be an awesome year!!
