Nick nack paddy wack

The krazy Ketner girls came for a visit last weekend.  Along with a 'swing by' from Nana and Papa.  A little BBQ, a little chocolate cake with my fabulous frosting . . . good times.

While talking with Jackie (aka nick nack paddy wack, for what reason I can't remember), she mentions she's been doing some computer work, working on a website/blog, bla bla bla.  WHAT!!  Hello!  I've been wanting a blog foreveh, yet have never been able to get past trying to figure out assigning a blog name and muddling through template settings.  (I'm a show-me girl, not a figure-it-out-myself girl.)  Anyway, after a 'blog lesson' with Jacks, I'm thinking I may be able to do this!

So this will be my blog.  The blog of an often confused, technologically challenged, pre-menopausal mom of a 16-year-old.  Interesting reading?  Probably not.  But it will be a way for friends and family to see what we're up to.  And a way to preserve memories, because I'm not retaining much these days!  My next hurdle will be trying to add pictures.  But first I have to find that cord thingie to connect the camera to the computer.
